At EPDOR, Karel is tasked with project management in the area of energy industry building on his vast experience in investment and project management.
His career began in ŠKODA Power where he worked as a project manager, supplying bespoke STG machine halls for gas turbines. Afterwards Karel joined Škodaexport as a project manager for EPC projects of power plants abroad. In 2010, he joined ČEZ Group, where he directed construction of a steam-gas 900 MW power plant in Turkey. After its successful commissioning Karel relocated to ŠKODA Praha where he worked as a Business Director and also served as a Board member. In the 90s, he was also involved in the Czech branches of international concercns ENI/AGIP and Texaco. He is fluent in English, Italian, and Portuguese.
