Power to the nucleus! EPDOR at the World Nuclear Exhibition 2021
Last week, representatives of EPDOR attended the 4th year of the famed World Nuclear Exhibition in Paris, an event dedicated to the nuclear industry. Having taken place between the 30th November and 2nd December, this year's exhibition was built around a theme "The nuclear industry, a key player for a low-carbon society and a responsible future", envisioning the global nuclear sector to play a role in the "fight against climate change to accelerate and intensify actions and investments to reach a sustainable low-carbon emissions future", i.e. a message that is precisely in line with EPDOR's vision of the future.
EPDOR representatives met with numerous valued business partners, namely EDF, Framatome, SETEC, or ABMI, Czech state representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Trade or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as Czech companies, namely the ČEZ Group, ZAT, SIGMA, ŠKODA JS, I&C Energo, and ÚJV.
During the event, EPDOR managed to sign an important Memorandum of Understanding with our long term French partner EKIUM represented by Christophe Zaia (on the photograph below). Generally, our colleagues returned from the event with a great feeling of expectation and we are hopeful the talks at WNE 2021 will bear fruit. We would also like to hereby recognize the excellent job GIFEN had done putting together such a great event!
