Study in Městečko municipality successfully completed, heat pump to be installed as a result

Following our Study of Energy Saving Measures Feasibility, the municipality of Městečko, located in the Central Bohemian Region, has decided to install a heat pump in the building of a local kindergarten. The decision is a major step toward the modernization of the building's heat management and municipal budget savings. 

Multiple sustainable and energy saving solutions were considered in the Study, including the installation of a heat pump, rooftop photovoltaic panels, a combination of these two technologies, or a combination of photovoltaics with a heat pump and a battery storage. The decision to install the heat pump on its own was made based on the conclusion that it would be the most efficient in reducing heating expenses compared to other energy sources. The payback period of this investment for Městečko, regardless of subsidy programmes, is at most 7 years since installation.
