New project for the MIT focused on savings from energy audits

28/01/2022

EPDOR is continuing the successful cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, which had begun in 2020 on a project aimed at demonstrating the impact of infrastructure measures on increasing energy efficiency in the transport sector and developing a methodology for calculating generated energy savings. This time, we are conducting another study for the MIT which evaluates the volume of energy savings from the implementation of energy saving measures identified in energy audits. The aim of the study is to find out whether the entities implement the recommended measures, to what extent, with what distance from the audit, whether they draw subsidies and, last but not least, whether the obligation to audit is an incentive to implement austerity measures. Data collection is currently underway, the survey will be evaluated and energy savings for the period 2014-2020 will be calculated at the end of February 2022.

We would like to thank the client from the Ministry of Industry and Trade for their trust and helpful cooperation and look forward to discussing the results! At the same time, we would like to thank our partner companies NMS Research and Anylopex for their contribution to the study.
