Successful Projects: boosting renewable energy supply with Chrášťany solar plant
The transition of the Czech Republic's energy mix towards renewable, emission-free, and sustainable sources, independent of foreign imports, has been a top priority for us for a long time. Over the years, we have successfully completed numerous projects that contribute to the development of decentralized energy production and reduce the demand on the national grid.
One such project is the photovoltaic power plant in Chrášťany, for which we designed an optimal installation capacity of 693.05 kWp. The company BPS Chrášťany s.r.o. operates a biogas plant, supplying local consumers with electricity from renewable sources. The construction of the solar power plant increased the capacity and production of green energy in the area, exceeding the output of the already existing energy source.
For this project, we secured funding through the "Photovoltaic Systems with/without Accumulation – Call I," announced as part of the National Recovery Plan. The financial support covered 35% of the total eligible costs, which included expenses for solar panels, inverters, substructures, cabling and electrical installations, the preparation of project documentation, and engineering services during the construction phase.
